The I-Core carbon insert forms the intelligent core of the sole construction. 
A precise alignment of the carbon fibres with the lever arm achieves both

LOWA I-Lock

A new, patented and exclusive LOWA clamp hook makes fixing the two-zone lacing extremely comfortable. The lacing fixes the instep of the foot with only one pull. At the same time the lace is blocked to allow for comfortably inserting the water blocking tongue. Pushing the hook clip upwards easily releases the clamping to 
loosen the instep lacing.

LOWA C4 Tongue

The four main features of the C4 Tongue increase

LOWA MONOWRAP® Speedhiking Frame

This MONOWRAP® construction is the perfect combination of stability, protection and cushioning. Lightweight uppers materials are provided with additional reinforcement and protection in the form of the sprayed on MONOWRAP® elements. The softer TPU/Nylon 2/3 stabilizer at the front provides good stability between the heel and middle foot and excellent flex in the toe zone.
