LOWA has qualified once again for the DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 certification for mountain and trekking footwear. Apart from LOWA, the traditional Bavarian footwear manufacturers, there is only one other footwear brand in the whole of Germany that meets the high standards required.
 
The certificated quality management system covers the areas of development, production and sales. Both business and social aspects play a key part in the audit carried out by the ‘Footwear Industry Quality Control and Development Institute’.
